Last night, Bobby Bones posted a video on his Instagram delivering embarrassing news. The video caught so much attention that artists like Chris Lane, Brantley Gilbert and Kane Brown commented on it.
In the video, Bones started by saying that he hoped to never have to make a video like this, but he wanted to share the news before it got out. He went on to say that for the first time in his life, he struck out in his playoff slow-pitch softball game and was humiliated. At the game, he noticed people in the stands who were looking him up on Google to see if it was him and then they started talking. When Bones went up to the plate, he struck out in the bottom 9th inning and left without saying anything to anyone. He feels like a loser and is so embarrassed from it that he’s retiring from playing. He also called it one of the worst things that have ever happened to him in his life.
Everyone thought with the way he opened the video that he was going to deliver bad news, and that he was being a bit dramatic about the game. He made the video because he thought someone was going to call into the show and tell them what they saw, so he wanted to make fun of himself before others could.
