My "Productive and Delicious Labor Day Weekend" in Pictures | iHeartMedia Tri-State

I know afternoon guy Steve Allan made steaks this weekend. So I had to grill some steaks too. Steaks come out great on our Blackstone flat top. Corn on the cob was on sale with the steak at Shop Rite so at the last minute I added it to our menu. The other interesting dish I threw together was bow tie pasta with peas. I mix in a little tomato sauce and butter. It's kind of exotic and delicious. The productive part of my weekend was a thorough cleaning of our pool and staining the side deck of my house. I make sure the pool is very clean every year before I close it. Hopefully, it will stay clean all winter after I cover it. The deck maintenance was much needed. I'm happy with the out come. My son Matt sent us some adorable pictures of Miss Charlotte. I'm sharing one of them here. She loves avocado. Grandpa is not so inclined.
