The New England Patriots must have been impressed by Tommy DeVito's performance last Friday. While playing against the Pats in a preseason game he went 17 for 20 and threw 3 touchdown passes. DeVito was playing for the Giants. Who released him on Tuesday. Now ESPN is reporting the New England Patriots claimed DeVito off wavers less than a day after he was let go. The Patriots have been shopping around for a number three quarterback. They think they've found him.
