My "Fun in the sea with cousins" Weekend in Pictures

My grandparents on my dad's side had eight children. I am blessed to have many cousins. Especially since I am an only child. My cousins are the closest I'll ever get to having siblings. The cousins I'm close to really do make me feel like a brother. Growing up I spent many fun days of my childhood visiting my cousins Roger, John and Bronwyn in Commack. We went to the beach at Robert Moses State Park several times. Half a century later we are still close and I truly enjoy visiting them. This past weekend we went to Fire Island on my cousin's boyfriend's boat and Robert Moses Beach. I ate really good too. Ten bucks was a lot to pay for a ham and cheese sandwich but it was really good! The ocean was beautiful. As we were dodging the waves my cousin Roger put everything into perspective. He said "Steve look around, how many people our age are out here? We are so fortunate to still be doing the same things we did when we were 18." When I looked around all the people around us were much younger. He was right. Thank you for that Roger.
