Father's Day Weekend started on Friday for me. I took my grandson Christopher to our local Firefly Park again. It's wonderful grandpa grandson bonding time. He is quite a comedian. Grandpa: Christopher you have to be careful climbing up there. Christopher: No I really don't. Later in the day we visited with my son Matt and my newest grand child Charlotte. Saturday morning I helped at the Matamoras United Methodist Church pancake and sausage breakfast. These monthly breakfasts are raising money to send our youth group kids to summer camp. Saturday afternoon I spent about an hour Facetiming with my son James. Who surprised me by telling me his mother and siblings were tired of seeing me using my 15 year old lap top. Which is being held together by duct tape. My Father's Day gift will be a brand new lap top! Then I bought myself a couple of gifts. Much needed new socks and underwear. On Father's Day Morning I saw Gracie and Christopher at their dad's house with Kim. Gracie made sure I took a picture of her so she could be in my Weekend in Pictures. I requested fried chicken and potato salad for my Father's Day Dinner. Then I was surprised with my favorite dessert strawberry short cake. My stepson David came by after dinner before working the night shift. So it was a successful Father's Day Weekend. I saw my four kids, three grand kids and got a nice surprise gift. Everyone made me feel like I was truly appreciated. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
