Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick says homeless people are being bussed to Jon Bon Jovi's new Soup kitchen at the Ocean County Library. He wants JBJ Soul Kitchen immediately closed. The mayor says the town is already burdened with an influx of homeless people using a warming station downtown. The annual budget for the Ocean County Library is $6.8 Million Dollars. Roderick says the soup kitchen there has created an increase in emergency services needed in the area. Recently, one man died from an overdose. "It's not the appropriate place to drop them off. " He says New Jersey should be building facilities where the homeless can be better served instead of a library paid for by taxpayers. "If they're going to turn this into a homeless shelter cut everybody a check and give them a Barnes and Noble gift card."
