My Epic Weekend In Pictures: You Helped Make This Our Biggest 12 Strays!

Talk about a whirlwind weekend as we're getting closer and closer to Christmas. This weekend included our now 3rd annual 12 Strays Of Christmas, going to another New York Giants game at MetLife Stadium in the elements, and some Christmas shopping. The New York Giants game at MetLife Stadium was definitely a cold and intense day. We knew going into the weekend that we were likely going to get a few inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday morning, wrapping up before we hit the road. Insert narrator voice here, the snow did not stop before we hit the road by our usual 7am Franklin departure. It kept going, and going.

We'll start off the weekend with Friday night, where Girlfriend Brooks and I had a nice, quiet night in watching Home Alone and Home Alone 2. I think she's starting to warm up with my preference of Home Alone 2 slightly ahead of the original Home Alone. I say it every year. While the original was beyond amazing, biggest Christmas movie in movie theater box office history, Home Alone 2 I prefer due to the increased plot, advanced trash talking between Kevin, Harry and Marv, and the beautiful New York City cityscape backdrop you can enjoy all throughout the movie. A good friend of Brooks was able to help fix her oven with a couple of new wires. We were very happy to test it out with one of our frozen Cape Cod Cafe pepperoni pizzas, and it worked perfectly well. Success!

Saturday morning I made my way over to Father John's Animal House. I woke up by 6am honestly too excited to even try continuing sleeping. I take these videos very seriously, and want them all to go as great that we can make them. I want to thank so many people who make this the success that it is. Our 12 Strays Of Christmas Pet Food & Supply Drive starts in late November right after our Stuff The Bus Food Drive. Our sponsors and drop off locations help tremendously in making this a major success. Shout out and thank you to Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative, Scotty's Automotive in Montague, Charity Oil, R. Poust, and more. Everyone who watched this video and shared made it the biggest Facebook Live video in our history. We never could hit 11 THOUSAND views on Facebook without everyone helping and supporting us. We wrap up our 12 Strays Of Christmas every year by doing an on location Facebook Live video with Father John's Animal House, where we simulcast this video on all 3 of our local iHeartRadio stations, 102.3 WSUS, 103.7 NNJ, and 106.3 The Bear. I have so much fun all year showcasing one or two pets at a time during my Pet Of The Week, we figured why not challenge ourselves with 12. That's right.12 adoptable Pets all in one video. That will always result in an enormous amount of cuteness, craziness, and fun! We have already had several Pets get adopted immediately! I'll remain in contact with my friends at Father John's Animal House who help keep us updated on all of the many moving parts involved with this.

This was definitely a fun weekend for sure. I went Christmas shopping in Newton after we wrapped up the video, and there were some decent options for me there trying to get for my family.

I then had a quiet Saturday night in getting ready for the early morning New York Giants wake up call.

It was intense! Long story short, we'll always remember this game. It was intense cold. The parking lots at MetLife weren't shoveled out. I actually enjoyed keeping myself busy shoveling out parking spaces, because it was helping me stay warm throughout the cold and snowy weather.

How cold was it? I barely took and posted any pictures. When your hands get too cold to post, you know it's intense!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my Epic Weekend In Pictures.

Next weekend, Girlfriend Brooks and I are going to be visiting her family in Syracuse. I cannot wait to see them. They are all so sweet, welcoming and caring. They've taken me in as if I'm one of their 12 Strays Of Christmas, ironically enough. Here we go!
